A FAMILY FARM IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
Raised the way God intended.
Grassfed and grassfinished beef and lamb, raised on ground we’re working to heal.

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend it and keep it.”
GENESIS 2:15
Howdy, folks.
We’re the Platts, a family farm in southeast Oklahoma. More than anything, we’re after healing the land: bringing the soil and the forage back toward the way God designed them.
We could stack up the labels. Drug free, hormone free, regeneratively raised, grain free, grassfed, grassfinished, pasture raised. Yaddayadda. Or we could say it the way we mean it: raised the way God intended.
Join us on the journey. Watch through a screen for now, and maybe one day you’ll come see the operation with your own eyes and taste some truly healing food.

We farm by forming a symbiotic relationship with the creation.
As close to it as we know how, and we learn a little more of it every day. Good meat starts in the ground, so that’s where the care goes first.
Tend it and keep it
We drill high-diversity cover crops straight into living ground, no tilling. Cool season and warm season both, so something is always growing and feeding the soil.
A swift rotation
The cattle and sheep move often, onto fresh grass, so no patch gets grazed too hard. It keeps the animals healthy and the pasture generous.
Minerals, thought through
A simple program we take seriously: Sea-90 garlic sea salt, baking soda, kelp, a little dried clay and molasses. Fresh water always, alongside a tank of mineral water made up of apple cider vinegar and garlic sea salt. No de-wormers, no vaccines, no hormones or implants, no antibiotics.
Nothing added
Nothing goes on or in the meat but the wrapping around it. That’s the whole ingredient list. We package one animal at a time, too, so what you take home is never mixed in with another.

Grassfed and grassfinished.
Grassfed is only half of it. What matters just as much, and what a lot of labels leave out, is the finishing.
Plenty of beef sold as grassfed gets finished on grain in its last weeks. Ours never does. Grass from the first day to the last.
It’s a good part of why our beef carries the nutrient density it does. Clean food with nothing added, the way our great-grandparents ate.
